Holy Family School is a Catholic elementary school founded in Port Allen, Louisiana, in 1949 by the Marianites of Holy Cross.
The school opened on Sept. 5, 1949, under the sponsorship of Holy Family Parish with Father Domsdorf, the pastor. Sister Mary Bernadette MSC, was the first principal. She worked with other Marianite Sisters, Sr. Jane Frances and Sr. Paulinus. Grades K-3 had an opening enrollment of 146 students with a tuition of $4 per month.
