It's official! The Chamber office is now located in the Addis Community Center!!
The Chamber was notified late last year that the Port of Greater Baton Rouge and the Parish would need the space we have occupied since 1995 for the future offices of Homeland Security, 911 and Central Communications for the Parish.
Being the great partner they are, the Parish generously offered the unoccupied office space in the Addis Community Center for the Chamber's temporary office.
We are looking for property on which to build our own building. This process could take two years as we also need to conduct a capital campaign to fund the construction and future maintenance of the facility. The Chamber will require just under 1/2 acre of land for the building and parking. If you have have space that you would like to donate to the Chamber (or for a long term ground lease with a minimum of capital from the Chamber), please contact our Executive Director, Deborah Biggs, at 225-383-3140.
