Crop Damage Assessment

The damage in our region from Hurricane Gustav was tremendous.

The Baton Rouge Area Chamber and its eight Regional Partners is conducting an assessment on the economic impact to our area businesses caused by the hurricane.

There is no doubt that our agricultural crops, and those who manage them, have been hard hit by the hurricane. These crops fall under economic impact for the parish just as much as a brick and mortar business.

Please take a few minutes to fill out the survey below regarding your damage and loss of revenue for your crops.

Even if your crops were not damaged, your answers are important in calculating the economic impact.

Please ask your neighboring businesses to also fill out the damage assessment, regardless of whether they are chamber members or not. We need to know the financial impact of Hurricane Gustav in our area.

If you have a business that also sustained damage, please fill out the Gustav Damage Assessment (link on the left side of this page).

The West Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce will compile the results and forward to the other Regional Partners.
